Diego Rocha began his career in fashion in 2002 after transplanting from São Paulo, Brazil to New York City, where he became a self-taught artist and began the journey of perfecting his craft to the artisan custom-made handbags produced today.

Following family to Chicago, he opened his first storefront location in the luxurious Gold Coast neighborhood, with such prominent retailers as Hermes, Prada and Barney's as his next door neighbors. 2011 began an incredible year of opportunity, commencing with his International Handbag Designer Award Win for Best Handmade Handbag for his signature Baby Jane bag. While in NYC to receive this award, he began auditions for Lifetime's new series, Project Accessory, where he made the final cast. This amazing opportunity stretched his exposure to a global level while giving the challenge and experience to grow his line to additional accessories beyond just impeccable handbags.
